Meet the Speaker | Debbie Mason

Debbie Mason has been a consultant to business, nonprofit and government clients for more than 20 years. Her career also includes marketing agency ownership, and healthcare and international corporate C-Suite roles before transitioning to nonprofit leadership. In the nonprofit sector, she has served as CEO to three foundations before serving the year in fractional CEO/COO roles. 

Debbie holds numerous professional credentials in public relations and fundraising including Certified Fundraising Executive; Certified Public Relations Counselor from the Florida Public Relations Association; Accredited public relations professional from the Universal Accreditation Board; and has been recognized as a Fellow by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). 

Debbie has served as a contributing writer to Business in Greater Gainesville, ASAE Florida and for more than a decade as a peer review editor for the national research journal the Foundation Review

Debbie earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations/journalism from the University of Florida, where she now serves as an adjunct professor. She earned a master’s degree in communications management from Syracuse University. Debbie resides in Key West with her goofy standard poodle, Tucker, aka Mr. Poodlicious.
