We will kick off the morning with an inspirational message from Kim Stezala, The Scholarship Lady. Kim has been a long-time friend to Kids' Chance and works with scholarship providers across the country to improve outcomes for students.
Kim will then shift into a practical session on student success, including student recruitment, student support in the Kids' Chance community, and national trends.
We will end the session with a panel of students from Kids' Chance of Illinois (KCIL) who will share how Kids' Chance has impacted their life and helped them achieve their goals.
Meet the Speaker | Kim Stezala
Kim Stezala is a Senior Partner with Design Group International, a consulting firm that helps organizations and their leaders through transformational change. Kim’s specialty is assisting scholarship providers, foundations, and educational organizations by focusing on the strategy, evaluation, and improvement of their programs. Her overall goal is to strengthen educational outcomes for students and improve impact for philanthropists.
She has been a guest speaker for the National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA) for more than 15 years, was the KCOA scholarship consultant for five years, and was co-author of the KCOA Scholarship Guide. She is also the author of Scholarships 101 The Real-World Guide to Getting Cash for College.
